As the operator, any time you're loading a new product (one you've never had before) you'll need to create that product in the operator's app. This entails taking a photo and providing basic details like product name and price. From there, the smart cooler uses video recognition and advanced AI software to track what customers pull from the machine and charge them accordingly.

Currently, we operate at approximately 99% accuracy and continue improving every day. On the rare occasion a product isn’t identified correctly, you’re notified inside the operator app and can easily adjust the order.

If someone removes a product and puts it back during their vending session, the AI software detects this and charges the customer correctly.

Yes. The exterior of the machine is fully customizable. If you choose custom graphics, you’ll be prompted to upload your design files after placing your order.

After setting up payment processing inside the operator app, you can request deposits of your earnings anytime.

Every Genius Vend unit includes a built-in SIM card that connects the machine to the payment processor and operator app. Monthly processing fees include this cellular connection.

Once activated, machines accept swipe and tap payments using cards or smartphones. We support Visa, MasterCard, Apple Pay, and Android Pay, covering over 99% of customer payment methods.

Processing fees include a monthly fee of $40 per machine and transaction fees of 5 cents plus 5.95% of revenue per order.

No. The processing fees listed are the only fees you’ll pay to operate your machine.

Vending machines have smaller transaction sizes, which leads to higher percentage fees. Industry rates typically range from 5–10% of revenue with monthly fees of $30–$100+ per machine. Our rates are competitive and often lower than most vending providers.

You set the preauthorization amount. If the final charge exceeds that amount, there’s a small risk of partial capture, but this is extremely rare. Most operators do not experience issues.

Your purchase includes lifetime support. The operator app includes a support portal where you can get help with any questions or issues.

Yes. Each machine includes a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects.

Genius Vend is an authorized U.S. distributor of HaHa AI vending machines. We use the same hardware, software, and factory, with added customization, documentation, and U.S.-based support.

Yes. You may request a return within 15 days of delivery. Full details are available in our refund policy. To date, we’ve never had a machine returned.
