ExtendAssure Warranty

This agreement explains what your extended warranty from ExtendAssure LLC ("ExtendAssure") covers.

What's covered

Your ExtendAssure warranty covers mechanical and electrical failure of the product caused by defects in materials or workmanship, under normal use, for the length of your coverage term. Coverage begins the day the manufacturer's original warranty ends and continues through your selected term (2 or 4 years).

If a covered part fails, ExtendAssure will repair the product, replace it with one of equal or greater value and functionality, or reimburse you for a covered repair, at ExtendAssure's discretion.

What's not covered

This warranty only covers a product that stops working the way it's supposed to on its own. It does not cover:

• Accidental damage, including drops, spills, cracks, or impact damage
• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or not following the manufacturer's instructions
• Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, discoloration) that doesn't affect how the product works
• Normal wear and tear, including batteries, filters, belts, and other consumable parts
• Theft, loss, or damage from fire, flood, power surge, or other external events
• Damage caused by unauthorized repairs, modifications, or non-approved parts or accessories
• Commercial or rental use, unless the product was purchased specifically for that purpose
• Pre-existing conditions or damage that occurred before your coverage began
• Any issue already covered by the manufacturer's original warranty

In short: if the product breaks on its own during normal use, you're covered. If something happens to the product — a drop, a spill, theft, or damage from how it was used — that's not covered.

Filing a claim

If your product has a covered issue, submit a claim using the link in your coverage confirmation email. We may ask for a description of the issue and proof of purchase before approving a claim.

Term

Coverage begins on the date the manufacturer's warranty expires and lasts for the term you purchased. It ends automatically when that term expires, when the product is replaced under a valid claim, or if ownership of the product changes.

General terms

• This warranty applies only to the original product purchased, from the shop where it was purchased.
• ExtendAssure determines, at its discretion, whether an issue is covered under this agreement.
• ExtendAssure may cancel this warranty, or a merchant's participation in the ExtendAssure program, at any time and for any reason.
• This agreement doesn't affect any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
